33 Weeks

I went to the doctor on Monday. Sorry for the late update. I wasn't dilated on Friday when I was at the hospital, but I was slightly Monday. No worries though as the doctor said I could stay the same way without progressing for weeks. They did an ultrasound to check the fluid levels around both babies, and that came back just fine. I go back in Monday for them to check again.

Here are some pictures of baby Eli. He is in a better position that his sister, so both pictures are of him because we aren't able to get any of her. Anyhow, here's the thing about twin ultrasound pics.... everything is so squished in there that there really have never been any fabulous shots of either of them. Also the "4-D" is actually computer generated, which means the ultrasound tech takes a still picture and then does some work with the imaging. But our boy never stays put long enough for her to do that, and it results in a blur. Hence the blurry "hand " that you see on the first picture on the left side. But I still enjoyed getting to see his little nose and mouth. Very cute!

The second picture is my favorite, even though there isn't too much to see because he is actually sucking his thumb in this picture. That was so fun to see on screen!

We can't wait to meet these two!

Congratulations! Enjoy the time you have alone and quiet. Taylor R. told me today she misses you, and mostly because they did not get to say goodby. You are so loved!!

I was also wondering what your girls name is. I'm glad you decided on Eli. I really like that name.

Still tossing around about three or four different girl names. Its not so much that we can't agree as it is we don't to "name" her something and then come up with something we like better later on. Right now we think we've decided on something, but that could change tomorrow! :)

And Eli will be named, "Elias David." but of course will also go by Eli. We both really liked that name as soon as Scott threw it out there. I guess we're waiting for that sort of "AHA" moment for the baby girl's name as well. We've had Elias picked since our anniversary dinner when it was first out there way back in January.

I can completely understand what you mean about having the "AHA" moment. Chris and I have names picked out already but still have to get pregnant. I am so going to laugh if I end up pregnant with either both girls or both boys because we only have 1 of each chosen. I guess we will have to wait and see. I know that God has a plan for us, I just wish He would let me know what it is.
